Adewale Adeyemi Questions Kwara United Management Ahead Of NPFL Kickoff

Ilorin, Kwara State – As the countdown to the 2024/2025 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season continues, sports journalist Adewale Adeyemi has raised concerns about Kwara United’s readiness both on and off the field.

Posting on his social media platform today, August 21, 2024, Adeyemi questioned the club’s management, highlighting the impressive efforts of rivals like Enyimba FC and Rangers International FC.

Adeyemi praised the work being done by Nwankwo Kanu at Enyimba and Amobi Ezeaku at Rangers, noting how their proactive approaches have energized their squads and built excitement among fans. In contrast, he expressed disappointment at the perceived silence from Kwara United’s camp.

“Seeing what Kanu is doing at Enyimba and how Amobi Ezeaku is transforming Rangers makes me wonder about Kwara United’s preparations,” Adeyemi wrote. “What is the management doing to ensure a lively and exciting matchday experience for the fans beyond what happens on the field?”

Adeyemi also pointed out the lack of involvement of ex-internationals who could offer valuable advice to make Kwara United more attractive to both fans and investors. With the new season fast approaching, he emphasized the need for clear strategies to avoid a potential struggle in the league or low matchday attendance.

“The new season is about to start, yet everything is quiet from the club,” Adeyemi continued. “What is our plan before we end up battling relegation or complaining about low attendance at our games?”

Adewale Adeyemi’s concerns have sparked discussions among the football community in Kwara State, as many await a response from Kwara United’s management regarding their plans to enhance both the team’s performance and fan engagement for the upcoming season.
