Daniel Daritus, Dandizzy and Olokunde Kabir, professionally known as Kabex, have indirectly fired Ayo Balogun, Wizkid for saying rap is dead.
The Afrobeat singer said in a recent interview that he does not listen to any other genre of music anymore, be it Fuji, Apala, or Rap music, among others.
He did not stop, saying that rap music is boring and dead. Those rappers constantly repeat their beats and flows, among others. He said: “ I don’t listen to rap— that shit is boring to me. It is dead now; it is tired. These guys do the same shit, rap in the same beats and same flows”.
After some hours of silence, Dandizzy and Kabex bitterly team up. They both recorded a song and a video. They posted it on Instagram in reply to the statement of Wizkid as well as accused other rappers who are not consistent and betraying rap music.
In the video, Kabex said, “How far, my friend? I heard one word that one person said rap music is dead”. Dandizzy replied, “guy, I swear to God, it is not the fault of the person but fault of some rappers who don’t value rap music”.
The reply has gotten superb attention, whereby many celebrities liked the video and dropped some witty comments to applaud Kabex and his latter.
