The Ondo Ecclesiastical Province Archbishop, Simeon Borokini, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to act fast and find a way out of the fuel and Naira scarcity that is making life unbearable for Nigerians.

The Archbishop said this at a media briefing to herald the 40th consecration and 10th Anniversaries of the Diocese of Akure, Anglican Communion

According to Borokini, there should be urgent action to provide a lasting solution to the Fuel and Naira scarcity if there is no hidden agenda to thwart the general elections.

The Archbishop also said the president should act fast before the international community started attaching meanings of a hidden agenda by his administration.

He also reiterated that, since the president has said Nigerians should give him seven days to decide to solve New notes scarcity, let us continue to pray that it won’t be more than seven days

“Let us wait for seven days, before the seven days, there must have been an improvement.

“In advanced countries, they give long periods, I don’t see the reason why the date shouldn’t be extended, even in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, they still allow people to spend the old notes.

“Nigeria is a big country, for our economy not to be paralyzed, there should be an extension for the old notes, they should co-exist.

We are praying for the president that will have the fear of God and the interest of the masses at heart says the Archbishop.
