Rukayat Motunrayo Shittu
Rukayat Motunrayo Shittu, an APC Member, Kwara-Member-Elect and journalist, was elected to the Kwara State House of Assembly at the age of 26.
On June 6, 1996, Rukayat was born in Kwara State’s Manyan, Asa Local Government Area. She attended Government Girls Day Secondary School in Oko Erin and Baptist Primary School LGEA in Ilorin, where she earned her senior secondary school certificate in 2011.
She received a diploma certificate in mass communication and Islamic studies from Kwara State College of Arabic and Islamic Law Studies in 2015.
She was accepted in 2017 and began studying mass communication at the National Open University of Nigeria, where she received her degree in 2022.
The journalist who proclaimed to be so certain of winning the election is relying on God to see her through her period since she has a great deal of responsibility and does not want to let down the many people who look up to her.
