Kwara United FC’s new coach, Kabiru Sulaiman Dogo said he believed that the team will bounce back.

Dogo stated with the little time he has spent with Kwara United FC that they have all it takes to bounce back to their last season’s position.

He said, “I will use my wealth of experience to change Kwara United’s slow performance to climb up the league table.

“I have understudied the players and discovered the team has lots of talented players in the team.

“Lack of coordination to produce goals will be looked into and drastic measures will be put in place to change the narrative to a positive one soonest, all will be well soon.

He further revealed his target, “My target is to take the team away from the relegation zone, it’s an abridged league, one of the most difficult league in the world and the process started yesterday against Remo Stars FC one of the organized teams who has been together for long, even though the match ended 0-0 against our plans”

However, he said that the result was not too good for the team, despite playing well and creating several chances, which were not converted. “My boys were not too decisive at the goal area,” he added.

“Nevertheless, we are going to leave that aside and plan ahead of our next away match against El-kami warriors of Maiduguri, we need to strengthen our attack and also double our effort in terms of scoring goals if truly we want favorable and positive results”

He concluded, “I appeal to all Kwara United supporters, fans, and Football lovers, to keep calm, it is a matter of time before the team will surely get back to winning ways.”
