Kwara Development Group Applauds Coach Ali Zubair For Nurturing Local Football Talent

Coach Ali Zubair, head coach of Nigeria’s Flying Eagles and El-Kanemi Warriors, is making a significant impact, as two players from Kwara State—Ibraheem Alonge and Suleiman Alabi (Jojo)—have been selected for the squad currently in Ikenne for their final camp ahead of the WAFU B tournament.

The tournament is set to begin on the 17th of October 2024 in Togo. Both players, products of La Planet FA in Kwara State, highlight the growing talent from the region.

Kwara could have contributed more players, but unfortunately, three additional players from the state were dropped due to passport issues and injuries.

The Kwara Development Group, under the leadership of Olaide Ahli, praised Coach Ali Zubair and Lookman Ijaya for their unwavering support in nurturing young talent from Kwara State.

“Kwara State deeply appreciates your efforts in developing football through human capital growth, Coach Ali Zubair. We encourage others to follow your example and continue to invest in the future of football,” said Olaide Ahli.

This recognition underscores the important role coaches like Ali Zubair play in developing Nigerian football and providing opportunities for homegrown talent as they prepare for the international stage.
