Sheikh Sulaimon Oluwatoyin Abou-Nolla, the Chief Imam of Lagos State has prayed and congratulated the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he won the 2023 presidential election.
Sheikh Abou-Nolla said that Tinubu’s success was the result of many years of effort and determination in pursuing deserving goals.
He affirmed that Tinubu’s election should exhilarate Nigerians since his presidency would have a favorable influence on the social and economic advancement of the nation.
He asserted that Tinubu is well-versed in how to increase internally generated revenue (IGR) without disturbing the oppressed.
The Chief Imam, “Let me first extend my congratulations to Asiwaju Tinubu Because of his thorough planning and dedication to leading the nation, he deserves to be chosen. He was familiar with Nigeria’s difficulties since he had been a part of the system for a long time, and he is capable of making things better. Nigerians may rely on his ability to put together a strong team that will create and carries out policies that are geared toward the general populace. The growth of human and material resources depends on such policies.”
He prayed, “May Allah direct Tinubu in selecting morally upright, intelligent, and caring individuals to advance his goal.”
Sheikh Sulaimon also prayed to Allah to provide Tinubu with the knowledge, direction, fortitude, and courage he needs to keep his pledges.
However, he pleaded with Nigerians, particularly the political elite, to work with him to advance the nation.
The Lagos Chief Imam admonished Tinubu to pick his team members wisely since they would either make or break his administration.
