The arrests were made four days after the victim’s brother, Ibrahim Umar, reported his younger sibling missing.

The investigation into the murder revealed that the suspects, Adamu and Muhammed, were the last passengers to be seen with the victim, who was heading to the Badaqoshi village.

After luring him to Shinge village in Alkaleri LGA and stabbing him in the abdomen with a sharp knife, the suspects murdered the Okada rider and made away with his motorbike.

The decomposed body of the victim was later identified by members of his family after it was found in the Shinge village forest, following a report made by Maina-Maji Divisional Headquarters.

While the suspects have been detained for interrogation, their confessions have implicated them in the gruesome murder of the bike rider, which has left locals in shock.

The Bauchi State Police continue to investigate this heinous crime, which has left the family and friends of the deceased, mourning their loss.
