An Abuja High court has approved the divorce of Anita and her husband, Paul Okoye
Anita had alleged that separation, cheating, fraud, being an absent father, and tough experiences were responsible for her decision for seeking a divorce.
The embattled wife also demanded a monthly payment of $20,000 and some of her husband’s mansions.
Anita had also claimed that she provided N10 million as a pact with her husband that she would be awarded space at his just completed mall in Lekki Phase 1, area of Lagos. Nonetheless, she indicted Paul Okoye of extorting her out of the deal.
In a turn of events, Anita decided to revoke the lawsuits and opted for an out-of-court settlement following her alleged inability to prove most of her claims.
The court, in part of its judgment, granted the two parties joint custody of their kids
