2023 Community Shield: Man City To Face Arsenal At Wembley August 6

On the 100th anniversary of Wembley serving as the home of English football, the Community Shield will return there in 2023.

The yearly “curtain-raiser” game will take place on August 6 at 17:30 BST.

Manchester City will face Arsenal, the league’s runners-up, because they won both the Premier League and the FA Cup last year.

The Women’s Euros final was held the following day at Wembley, hence last year’s match between City and Liverpool on July 30 was played at Leicester City.

The FA Cup final for the upcoming season will be held on May 25, 2024, which is six days following the conclusion of the Premier League schedule.

Because to the mid-season break for the first World Cup to be hosted in the winter, Manchester City’s triumph over Manchester United on June 3 was the FA Cup final’s later ever.

Wembley will host the Championship Play-off Final the day after the FA Cup Final on May 26, followed the following Saturday, June 1, by the Champions League Final.
