Temilade Opeyemi professionally Known as Tems has set a new record for Nigerian music industry at the 65th edition of the prestigious grammy awards 2023.
The Afrobeats singer won the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category on Sunday night for her role in ‘Wait for U’, the 2022 hit song by Future featuring Drake.
The 2023 Grammy Awards ceremony is currently being held at Arena in Los Angeles.
The singer, who had bagged 3 nominations at the Grammy awards 2023 with her immense contribution has bagged a Grammy award in the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category for her vocal making it her first Grammy award win after four nominations.
