2023 Hajj: Pray For Nigeria, Emir Of Ilorin Urges Muslim Pilgrims

 

Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, the Emir of Ilorin, hasnurged the pilgrims from the state to make special prayers for the country’s peace, unity, and prosperity in 2023.

This is stated in a message of goodwill that the emir’s spokesperson, Malam Abdulazeez Arowona, released on Monday in Ilorin.

They were urged by Mr. Sulu-Gambari to view their trip to the holy towns of Madinah and Makkah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a wonderful chance to get closer to Allah.

The Ilorin Emirate’s residents, the residents of Kwara, and all Nigerians in general have received various benefits, the emir, who also serves as head of the Kwara Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba, thanked Almighty Allah for.

He stressed that the pilgrims were expected to pray for global peace and harmony while in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

“I use this moment to thank Almighty Allah and urge our pilgrims to pray for peace and unity of Nigeria, most importantly, for the newly inaugurated leaders at the federal and state levels.

“I also enjoin pilgrims from Ilorin Emirate and beyond to be good ambassadors of our dear country, by conducting themselves in the most peaceful manner throughout their stay.”

The emir expressed gratitude to the state’s residents, government, and Ilorin Emirate’s sons and daughters for their unwavering prayers and support.

He asked the Almighty Allah to give the Hajj rituals and travel mercies to all the pilgrims.
