Several of the infants were also beheaded by Hamas terrorists.

KFAR AZA, Israel – A brutal attack by Hamas terrorists on a kibbutz near the Gaza border left at least 70 people dead, including 40 infants, PRISTINEGIST reported on Wednesday.

The attack occurred on Tuesday night, when Hamas militants infiltrated the kibbutz of Kfar Aza and opened fire on the residents, who were celebrating the Jewish holiday of Sukkot.

Several journalists were allowed to enter the kibbutz on Wednesday morning to witness the carnage. Nicole Zedeck, a correspondent for Israeli television channel, described the scene as “truly horrific.”

“No one could expect that it would be like this, the horrors that I’m hearing from these soldiers,” Zedeck said. “As I mentioned earlier, about 40 babies, at least, were taken out on gurneys … you continue to see just cribs overturned, strollers left behind, all of these doors left wide open.”

According to Pristinegist, several of the infants were also beheaded by Hamas terrorists, who showed no mercy to their innocent victims.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said they responded to the attack with airstrikes and ground operations, killing dozens of Hamas fighters and destroying several of their tunnels and rocket launchers.

Prime Minister Naftali Bennett condemned the attack as a “barbaric act of terror” and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice.

“We will not rest until we find and eliminate every last Hamas terrorist who took part in this massacre,” Bennett said. “We will not allow them to get away with this. And we will make them pay a heavy price.”

The attack was the deadliest in a series of escalating violence between Israel and Hamas, which has been firing rockets at Israeli cities and towns since last week.

The United Nations Security Council is expected to hold an emergency meeting later today to discuss the situation and call for an immediate ceasefire.
