67-Year-Old Mum Hired Assassin to Kill Children Over Inheritance
Police in Krasnoyarsk, the second largest city in Siberia, have arrested a 67-year-old woman for allegedly plotting to kill her children for their inheritance.
The woman reportedly wanted to be the only owner of a family property and hired a hitman to murder her son and two daughters.
She enlisted the help of a friend, who helped her find the killer, who was paid to carry out the killings.
Her alleged scheme was exposed on the day the hitman was supposed to kill one of her daughters.
Police photos show a stack of money that she allegedly used to pay for the murders.
A statement from the ministry said, “A suspect in organising the murder of her children was detained by employees of the criminal investigation department of the Krasnoyarskoye Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
“Operatives learned that a resident of the regional center, born in 1956, ordered the murder of her son, born in 1978, and daughters born in 1974, wishing to remain the sole owner of real estate.”
