Atiku’s Lawyers Obtain Tinubu’s Academic Records From US University
The legal team of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has received the academic records of All Progressives Congress (APC) leader Bola Tinubu from Chicago State University in the United States.
This was disclosed by Atiku’s spokesman, Segun Showunmi, who said that the records were obtained as part of a lawsuit filed by Atiku against Tinubu for allegedly claiming to have graduated from Chicago state university.
Showunmi said that the records were released by the university following an order by Judge Nancy Maldonado of the Northern District Court of Illinois.
He also said that at least two staff of the university would make a deposition before Judge Jeffrey Gilbert, who is presiding over the case.
