Cristiano Ronaldo has once again proved his worth as one of the best players in the world, leading his club Al Nassr to the top of the Saudi Pro League with his goals and assists.

The Portuguese star, who joined Al Nassr in January 2023 from Manchester United, has scored 24 goals and provided 12 assists in 23 league matches, making him the top scorer and the top playmaker in the competition.

His impressive performance has helped Al Nassr win 18 games, draw four and lose only one, giving them a six-point lead over second-placed Al Hilal with five games remaining.

Al Nassr FC praised Ronaldo’s contribution on their official Twitter account, posting: “Top scorer ⚽️ Top playmaker 🅰️ Endless effort from @Cristiano Ronaldo 💪”

Ronaldo, who is reportedly earning £177m per year at Al Nassr, has also helped the club win their first Arab Club Champions Cup in 2023, scoring two goals in the final against Al Hilal.

The 38-year-old, who has won five Ballon d’Or awards and five Champions League titles in his illustrious career, has expressed his satisfaction with his new challenge in Saudi Arabia.

“The vision with which Al Nassr operates is very inspiring and I am excited to join my teammates. Let’s help the team together to achieve more successes,” Ronaldo said after signing for Al Nassr.
