Kizz Daniel Calls Cross-Dresser, Bobrisky, his “baby” On An IG Post, Sparks Controversy

Nigerian singer and songwriter Kizz Daniel has stirred up controversy on social media after he referred to the popular crossdresser Bobrisky as his “baby” in a video he posted on his Instagram account. The video showed Bobrisky flaunting his expensive jewelry collection, which included gold bracelets, earrings, and a necklace worth millions of naira.

The video was part of the My G Challenge, a promotional campaign for Kizz Daniel’s latest song “My G”, which features American rapper Lil Baby. The challenge invites fans to post videos of themselves or their loved ones showing off their wealth and success. Bobrisky, who is known for his extravagant lifestyle and controversial personality, participated in the challenge by displaying his jewelry in a traditional outfit.

Kizz Daniel was apparently impressed by Bobrisky’s display and shared the video on his Instagram account with the caption: “Not to pressure you but to motivate you this Sunday My …. Google Baby girl @bobrisky222 assignment #MyG M”. The caption sparked a lot of reactions from social media users, who were confused by Kizz Daniel’s use of the term “baby” to refer to Bobrisky. Some wondered if Kizz Daniel was joking or flirting with Bobrisky, while others criticized him for endorsing Bobrisky’s crossdressing lifestyle.

Bobrisky, however, seemed unfazed by the controversy and thanked Kizz Daniel for the shout-out. He also praised Kizz Daniel’s song and urged his fans to stream it. He wrote on his Instagram account: “Thanks so much @iamkizzdaniel for loving my video. Guys go stream his new song #myg featuring @lilbaby_1. It’s a banger trust me”.

Kizz Daniel has not commented on the controversy or explained his choice of words. However, some sources suggest that he might have used the term “baby” as a friendly gesture or a slang term, and not as a romantic expression. Kizz Daniel is known for his hit songs such as “Woju”, “Yeba”, and “One Ticket”. He recently released his third studio album “King of Love” in 2020.
