Senator Sadiq Umar Continues To Make Difference: Empowering Lives Across Kwara North

Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar, representing Kwara North Senatorial District and Chair of the Senate Committee on Trade and Investment, orchestrated a transformative initiative on Monday.

Sixty youths from Kwara North were empowered with vocational skills at Savannah Hotel, Ilorin, in collaboration with the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology and the National Veterinary Research Institute, VOM Plateau State.

This comprehensive training, spanning diverse skills, aims to combat unemployment, idleness, and excesses among the youth, fostering job opportunities.

However, Senator Sadiq, expressing his pleasure through his media team, urged participants to leverage acquired skills for personal and community benefit.

Highlighting the non-political nature of the initiative, the Senator emphasized the importance of empowering constituents. The recent event, involving collaboration with the National Agricultural Extension and Research Liaison Services, Zaria, marked the training and empowerment of an additional 120 participants, totaling 240 since September.

Senator Sadiq remains committed to uplifting youth from poverty, pledging to attract more developmental initiatives to Kwara North. His media team signed off on this impactful endeavor on December 12th, 2023.
