On December 24, 2023, in a festive gesture, Senator Sadiq Suleiman Umar, the representative of Kwara North Senatorial District, initiated a significant distribution of goodwill.
A total of 2500 25kg bags of rice, allocated at 500 bags per Local Government Area (LGA), accompanied by a cash infusion of twenty-five million naira, has been dispatched as a palliative measure to constituents in celebration of the Christmas and New Year holidays.
However, the distribution, spanning the five LGAs and 58 wards within Kwara North, reflects Senator Umar’s commitment to complement the ongoing efforts of the state government in alleviating the challenges faced by the people.
Senator Umar, speaking through his Media Team expressed gratitude to the constituents and urged continued patience and support for the APC-led administration.
He further emphasized the government’s dedicated efforts to stabilize and reposition the economy for the benefit of all.
