Abubakar Aliya, the Minister of Power in Nigeria has announced that the mega power transformer, the transformers, manufactured by Siemens Energy, are starting to arrive in the country.
Aliyu Abubakar said Nigeria and Germany entered an agreement—whereby Germany loaned Nigeria fund to buy the equipment.
However, he said based on the agreement between the Federal government and the company, Siemen, Nigeria was able to order 10 morbid power transformers and 10 mobile substations; that have started arriving in Nigeria.
He concluded that the Federal government had also developed the National Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Policy with the accompanying Vision 30:30:30.n
