Nasarawa United’s Victory Signals Progress, Coach Adams Usman Keeps NPFL Dream Alive

Coach Adams Usman, the Technical Adviser of Nasarawa United, stated that he is not ready to celebrate any victory until he achieves promotion back to the Nigeria Professional Football League.

He made this statement in a post-match interview after a 3-0 victory against ABS FC at Lafia Stadium in Nassarawa State on the 2nd of February 2024.

The match concluded 3-0 in favor of the home team, Nasarawa United, with Anas Yusuf scoring the opener in the first half. However, Adamu Hassan came in during the second half and scored the remaining two goals of the match.

Coach Adams believes that today’s victory is a sign that his team will gain promotion back to the NPFL. Still, he emphasized that he is not ready to celebrate until the team achieves that promotion.

He further stated, “Nasarawa United is not just a team but like my own personal team because it is a team of my state, and what can make me happy is seeing the team promoting back to the NPFL.”
