Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested some vigilantes for setting a thief ablaze.
Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, stated this in a post on his X handle on Monday, March 25.
He wrote: “Community members arrested a thief in the act. They handed him over to vigilantes.
“Minutes later, community members were shocked to find the apprehended thief being burnt alive.
“Vigilantes have been arrested and will be prosecuted. Say no to jungle justice.”
