According to multiple reports from the internet, Popular BBN housemate Eric Akhigbe has been nabbed by the authorities for reportedly duping several people with huge sums of money while promising them automatic slots into the upcoming BBN Show.
One of the reports claimed that a young singer identified as Baby C had, earlier this year, called out Eric on his social media handle for conning her with a fake BBN slot.
The upcoming singer had disclosed that an ex-BBNaija housemate robbed her of millions of naira. The sum in question was allegedly put at N5.3m.
Baby C also revealed that the reality TV star committed the sham with the assistance of an insider working with Multichoice.
Following the arrest of Eric in the United Kingdom, a social media user, mss_kassy, also alleged that she had nearly fallen into the same scam. “I almost fell victim last year, but he asked me to bring 500k as part payment which I told him I don’t have at the moment, then he said he can’t keep the slot for me”, she said.
