France seals epic final with Argentina

France has sealed a date with Argentina for the Qatar 2022 world cup after seeing off a resilient Moroccan side.

Despite being at the back foot for the major part of the match with their African counterparts dominating possession in both halves, France proved the better side in front of goal, and was able to hold out a 2 goal victory over Morocco courtesy of goals from Theo Hernandez and R. Kolo Muani.

Should France go all the way to clinch the trophy on Sunday, it would be the first time a national team is winning the FIFA World cup consecutively in 60 years.

African heroes Morocco, will hope to get the better of Croatia on Saturday for a third place spot.
