Kwara State Speaker Welcomes Philanthropist Prince Lekan Adewoye and Unveils Donated Generator

 

Kwara State Speaker, Rt. Hon Engr. Yakubu Danladi Salihu, yesterday hosted Prince Lekan Adewoye, the founder of the Lekan Adewoye Foundation, along with his entourage, at the State House of Assembly complex. The courtesy visit highlighted the foundation’s philanthropic activities and initiatives.

Later in the day, Rt. Hon Salihu joined the APC Kwara State party Chairman, Prince Sunday Fagbemi, along with members of the state executive committee, senatorial executives, local government chairmen, party elders, and faithfuls to unveil a 30KVA Mikano generator. The generator, generously donated by the Arandun-born philanthropist Prince Lekan Adewoye, is set to enhance operations at the state secretariat.

The Speaker was accompanied by colleagues from the 10th assembly, including Chief Whip Hon. Abolarin Ganiyu Gabriel, Hon. Arinola Fatima Lawal, Hon. Maryam Yusuf Aladi, and Hon. Olushola Odetundun, marking the event with significant political camaraderie and support.
