Blasphemy Of Prophet: Rampaging Mob Lynches Man Injures Policeman Over Blasphemy Against Prophet Muhammad
In a shocking incident that unfolded on Wednesday in Nasaru village, Ningi local government area of Bauchi State, a young man identified as Yunusa met a gruesome fate at the hands of an enraged mob. The reason? Allegations of blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
According to eyewitnesses, Yunusa, a member of the Faira Islamic Sect, engaged in a heated argument with his friends during which he reportedly uttered words of insult directed at the revered Prophet. When challenged to retract his statement, Yunusa defiantly refused, further escalating tensions.
The situation quickly spiralled out of control as the mob turned violent, using stones, sticks, and other makeshift weapons to fatally assault Yunusa. Even police personnel were unable to quell the fury of the crowd, leaving Yunusa defenceless.
In a desperate attempt to protect him, officers sought refuge with Yunusa at the local police station. However, the mob’s anger knew no bounds, and they even attempted to set fire to the station.
As of now, the police have yet to issue an official response to this horrifying incident. The community remains in shock, grappling with the tragic consequences of religious fervour turned deadly.
