Nigeria’s Under-23 Olympic team and the home-based Super Eagles goalkeeper coach, Suleiman Shuaib, a native of Osi Ekiti in Kwara State, embodies a deep passion for developing young goalkeepers.

Currently serving as the trainer for Nigeria’s Under-23 Olympic team and the home-based Super Eagles goalkeeper, Shuaib’s influence extends to shaping top-tier talent at the international level. During his holidays in Kwara State, he invests invaluable time training aspiring young goalkeepers.

Looking forward, Shuaib envisions Kwara State as Nigeria’s premier hub for goalkeeping excellence. His vision includes establishing a state-of-the-art goalkeeper academy aimed at honing the skills of future stars. “My goal is to create a world-renowned institution right here in Kwara State,” he asserts. “Our young goalkeepers deserve top-notch training to excel globally.”
