The department of Political Science, University of Ilorin has produced a first class graduate for the first time since the inception of the school.
Alamu Azeez, graduated with a first class degree with a CGPA of 4.59 to break a 40-year old jinx in the department.
The graduating president of the department Comrade, Gbadamosi Toheeb, who is our correspondent and also the second best graduating student has regarded the feat as a remarkable achievement.
“This is an historical achievement and I hope this is going to kickstart the start of a new dawn in the department. Many of those just coming in can now have the believe that in the department of Political Science, it is possible to graduate with a first class degree”, he remarked.
