Senator Gbemisola Ruqayyah Saraki, a former minister, has firmly denied the long-standing rumor that she and former Senate President, Abubakar Bukola Saraki are not related.
Over the years, the notion that both former MPs shared the same father but not the same mother has sparked heated debate among Saraki dynasty supporters and others with opposing ideologies.
Senator Gbemi Saraki made this known in response with a commenters named “Moshood Sekoni” who had commented on a tribute she had written to mourn the passing of Chief Mrs. Florence Saraki after two months on her verified Facebook account.
Mr. Sekoni asked, “So all the story of his Mum (Bukola Saraki) was from Jamaica and stuffs is not true?”
Senator Gbemisola replied “Of course they weren’t true, All lies. she was the mother of the four of us”
