The Team Manager of Abraysports FC of Ilorin, Marazzina Coker has expressed his delight over his team’s 3-0 victory over Athletico FC in their opening game of the 2024 edition of Emir of Ilorin Cup at the Queen Elizabeth school on Sunday.
Coker described the victory as a good start for the team and believes it will boost them to do more.
“It’s a perfect start for our boys and I am very happy with their performance. I believe it will spur them to do more going forward.
Marazzina also commended the organisers of the Emir of Ilorin Cup for their steadfastness and commitment in development of football at the grassroots level.
“I give special kudos to the organisers of the Emir of Ilorin Cup for the wonderful idea. The tournament has really helped in the discovery of many talented footballers and has also helped them to improve on their skills” he said.
Abraysports will be hoping to secure another maximum point when they face Injector FC in the second game on Wednesday.
