Messi offered one million dollars for Bisht garment worn during World Cup ceremony

Lionel Messi has been offered a million dollars to part way with the symbolic Bisht cloak he had worn during the world cup final ceremony.

The Argentina international had helped his country to World Cup glory at Qatar 2022. However, he also got the honour of laying his hands on the most amazing of prizes following an exhilarating final triumph over France.

A lawyer and member of parliament in Oman, Ahmed Al Barwani, has however presented the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner with a mouth watering offer of one million dollars to allow the legendary garment remain in the Middle East.

“From the Sultanate of Oman I congratulate you for winning the World Cup Qatar 2022 … the Arabic bisht, a symbol of chivalry and wisdom. I’m offering you $1 million in return for that bisht.” said Al Barwani on Twitter

The Lawyer however went on to clarify that the garment won’t be worn but will serve as an emonument of pride. “It will be displayed to commemorate that moment of pride, and to help us relive it, and to also remind us that we can [do anything].” he added.
