Popular Nigerian Musician, Wizkid has stated that he will never perform a paid show in Nigeria again.
Having previously thrown his fans into a frenzy for previously stating that he would never perform in Lagos again, Wizkid has, however, provided clarifications saying that he had only meant all Nigerian shows would be done for free.
His Flytime concert on the 24th of December, 2022, had seen the likes of Ayra Starr, Ruger, and Young Jonn throwing up spectacular performances in the fully packed Eko Hotel.
“This is the last time you will pay to see me perform”, said the musician midway into his performance.
For all we can tell, Nigerian music lovers and Wizkid fans can be assured of attending free shows from the music star. How often such shows will come is yet to be known.
