Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL has conducted a draw for the 2022/2023 NPFL season and announced a kick-off date today.
The kick-off date announced is on the 8th of January, 2023, and ends by May.
NPFL also concluded on abridge league of two groups group A and group B respectively.
A super Six will be played to determine the actual champion of the season. Three top teams from each group will play in the super six.
Group ‘A’ teams are Kwara United, Nasarawa United, Plateau United, Elkanemi Warriors, Enyimba, Akwa United, Bendel Insurance, Shooting Stars, and Remo Stars. However, group ‘B’ teams are Niger Tornadoes, Doma United, Wikki Tourists, Lobi Stars, Rivers United, Abia Warriors, Dakkada FC, Rangers International, Sunshine Stars, and Bayelsa United.
The fixtures of the first game have also been set and all first matches will be commenced on The 8th of January, 2023–the same day.
