Scores of party stakeholders, stalwarts and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara State have resigned their membership in Ibagun Ward with immediate effect.
Ibagun Ward is in Ilorin East Local Government of the State.
The former PDP members, including present and past executives of the party at the ward level, jointly addressed their resignation letter to Chairman of PDP in Ilorin East.
Their resignation comes few weeks to the election, joining a litany of resignations that had hit the party under the leadership of ex-Senate President Bukola Saraki.
The affected persons are: A A Elesinmeji, former Chairman, Ibagun Stakeholders; Lawyer Ismailia Kowa, former LOHE to former Governor Abdulfatai Ahmed; Alhaji Ayinla Wasiu, former Ibagun Youth Leader; Mallam Dauda Abolaji, present executive; Mallam Olaide Oladele, Youth Leader.
Others include, Mallam Yunus Ibrahim, Mallam AbdulGaniyu Ayuba, Mallam Lukman Abiodun, Musa Ajibola, Bibire Abdullateef, Babs Igbaja.
