The presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Congress, (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said that the upcoming presidential election on the 25th of February,2023. is a liberation election that should produce a Yoruba man as a president.
He made the statement on Friday during the APC presidential campaign rally in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti capital.
Tinubu declared that, he was ahead of those planning scuttle the election with the hoarding of new notes and scarcity of fuel accross the nation.
He also said that it is the turn of the Yoruba to produce the president of the country, according to him to him, “this election is yours. It is the election you will use to liberate yourselves
Tinubu also said: “Eyin omo Yoruba! (Children of Yoruba). Whose turn is it? Calm and Relax. If you hear rumblings, if someone is not chasing something, then something is chasing someone. This election is your election, is that not so? it is an election you will use to liberate yourselves…. They want to turn us to slave and servants. They are lieing. We are not servants.

He posited further that: ” I use God to beg you, this is not a matter of fight, dont fight them. Those who locked up your money will eventually unlock it. They are doing it to get you angry so that you can become violent and they can postpone the election to bring an interim government.
