The Federation of Ayete Student’s Union, FASU 2022/2024 administration gifted young Christians sets of the bible as they celebrate the resurrection day of Jesus today at Ayete town.
The General Secretary of the Union, Olatunji Bisola represented the president of the union, Akinsanmi Femi at the event to present the bible to some young Christians today.
The Secretary reported to Pristinegist.com today that the FASU administration delivered the holy bible to ensure high morals are instilled in the lives of the young people.
According to her, “Religion preaches morals and ethical standards. The word of God is capable of making young people Godly.”
She reiterated further, that it is quite unfortunate that we are now in a society where many young ones have deviated from high morals and good values which is a panacea for the development of our community.
“The moral decadence can be fixed by our religious leaders through the preaching of the word of God.
“This can encourage our young ones to familiarize themselves with the word of God and meditate on it at home.
“It will undoubtedly reduce the level of social vices in our communities,” she added.
The Federation of the Ayete Student’s Union elected the executive and the FASU representative council was elected on the 26th of December, 2022.
The Secretary of the union assured the public that their administration will make the promotion of the two religions a priority.
