Kwara United U-15s Player in Action.
Kwara United U-15s Failed to secure the Quarter Final spot, as they lose 2-1 to Sunshine Stars U-15s in their last game of the group stage today.
Suleiman Yusuf gave Kwara United an early lead during the first half of the game as he dribbled the goalkeeper of Sunshine Stars, and placed the ball perfectly inside the net.
Olaniyan Precious of Sunshine awoke the hope of Sunshine Stars as he scored the equalizing goals during the first half of the match.
However, Edwin Miracle scored another goal for Sunshine Stars in 60 minutes which put Akure Boys ahead of Harmony Boys during the match.
After the second goal was scored by Sunshine Stars, both teams tried hard to score again most especially Kwara United but all in vain.
The Match ended 2-1 in favor of Sunshine Star.
Meanwhile, tomorrow’s match between Akwa United and Doma will determine the fate of Kwara United’s qualification.
Also, note that Doma FC hasn’t gained any points in the 2023 NPFL/Laliga U-15, while Akwa United has 4 points the same as Kwara United with 1 goal difference between them.
