Ondo Varsity Graduate Found Dead Inside Room

Gbenga Moses, a recent AAUA (Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko) graduate, in Ondo state was discovered dead.

It was believed that Mr. Moses died of food poisoning as he was waiting for his call-up letter to mobilize for the one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) requirement.

PRISTINEGIST learned that the deceased, who was known to his co-workers as “Pablo,” was discovered dead after failing to exit his room.

According to a number of student sources, the young man who received his degree in philosophy from the university had earlier eaten dinner with his girlfriend in the university town.

After eating the dinner, Mr. Moses was taken to a private hospital, according to one of the individuals who did not want her name used.

“However, he received treatment, received his girlfriend’s release, and returned to his room all on the same day.

“We were anticipating his exit from his room on Sunday morning. We rang his doorbell. It wasn’t opened by him. He didn’t answer when we called him on his phone.

The insider told The Gazette on Monday, “We had to barge in his room through the window at exactly 11 am and that was when we found him dead.

He continued by saying that the deceased’s girlfriend, although receiving medical attention in the hospital, was in a “critical condition.”

In a phone conversation with our reporter, Olusegun Akanbi, the dean of student affairs, confirmed the unfortunate event.

The school administration had already invited Mr. Moses’ parents, according to Mr. Akanbi, who called the situation “tragic.”

Victor Akinpelumi, the AAUA’s spokesperson, stated in a brief interview that the organization has formed an investigation team to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
