UI Professor, Ajewole Assassinated In Ibadan, Oyo State
Professor Opeyemi Ajewole, a well-known academic in the Social and Environmental Forestry Department at the University of Ibadan, has been shot dead by unknown gunmen. Ajewole was reportedly killed on his way home in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo state.

“It is true. He was killed last night while returning home. They shot him and took his car. He was my friend. I just confirmed from a member of his Faculty now,” said the source.
