A Twitter user going by the name Niyi described how his friend lost all of his NYSC N140,000 allowance in savings.
He claimed that the man saved the cash while completing his National Youth Service program and came home thereafter.
Niyi continued, saying that his friend bet on a virtual game with the money rather than using it for anything physical and lost.
He claimed that as a form of solace, he had to get supper for him that evening.
He wrote on his handle; “Randomly remember my guy who saved about 140k during his service year, only to come back home and lose everything in a day to bet9ja virtual.
“Na kuku my area, nah me later buy am food that evening. How do you save for 12 months and lose everything to baby in hours.”
