In their household, speaking English was strictly prohibited, and instead, they communicated primarily in Yoruba. This upbringing facilitated his smooth integration into Nigerian street music upon returning to Nigeria.

Despite being in England, he further emphasized that his family preserved their Nigerian heritage by listening to Fuji music and relishing African cuisine.
