Godwin scores,Abubakar claim assist as KFA players shine in debut for Kwara United

The trio of Kwara Football Academy, Godwin Oshagbemi, Abubakar Garba, and Sunday Samuel all made a significant impact in their debut for Kwara United on Thursday.

The prodigies, who had earlier been snapped up by the team earlier in the week made the best of the game as Kwara United defeated Laycon FA 2-0 in a pre-season friendly.

While Samuel impressed the onlookers and supporters alike with his goal-bound efforts in the first half of the game, Abubakar Garba would eventually in his usual manner provide the assist for Kwara United’s opener through Abubakar Boni.

It was also a great day for Godwin who ultimately capped up the game with his fantastic strike to hand United their second goal of the day.

Expectedly, the players, having once again proved their worth are now in line to be registered for Kwara United for upcoming NPFL season.

It’s a bright beginning for the lads who have, through their great performances, goal records, and trophies won etched their names in the history book of the Academy. They are now well positioned for more greater things in their new house.
