I Bathed With Human Skull To Boost My Business – Suspect

A photographer and boutique owner, Franklin Akinyosuyi, 26, has admitted that he used a human skull to take baths for a month, following the advice of a herbalist.

Akinyosuyi, who lives in Ondo town, Ondo State, said he was given the skull and some other materials by the herbalist to improve his business. He was told to bathe with the skull at 1am every Thursday.

However, he did not see any positive change in his business and demanded his money back from the herbalist. He also wanted to get rid of the skull, but the herbalist refused to take it back.

Akinyosuyi was arrested after his landlord discovered the skull in his backyard and reported him to the police. He was paraded along with his accomplices at the state police headquarters in Akure on Saturday.

The state police spokesperson, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, said five persons were involved in the case, but two of them were still on the run.

She said one of the suspects, Oyegoke Dare, an evangelist, confessed to supplying the skull and other items to Akinyosuyi. Another suspect, Oyelade Sarafa, an herbalist, admitted to obtaining the skull from a vigilante named Asekun in Ikirun.
