“Portable Admits to Dating Late Alaafin of Oyo’s Widow, Queen Dami
Habeeb Okikiola, a street hop singer who goes by the stage name Portable, has revealed that he is in a romantic relationship with Queen Dami, the widow of the late Alaafin of Oyo.
The relationship between the two had been a subject of speculation after some screenshots of their chats, where they called each other my king and queen with love emojis, went viral on the internet.
Portable, who calls himself the Ika of Africa, confirmed the rumours in an interview with Nedu Wazobia on the Honest Bunch Podcast. He said that he and Queen Dami had a connection since she was his fan from day one.
He also denied having any child with her and said that he only started dating her after the death of the king. Also, he said that he respected the king and would not have been involved with his wife if he was still alive. He said that he followed the saying “after king na king.”
