Tojubole made this plea during a live video on Facebook yesterday, the 9th of July 2023.
Acknowledging the gravity of the situation, Tojubole openly accepted the wrongfulness of the prank video orchestrated by Trinityguy, particularly due to the involvement of a minor girl.
He emphasized that subjecting such a young girl to such pranks not only contravened the country’s laws but also constituted an inappropriate act.
Expressing sincere remorse, Tojubole tendered an apology and implored the government to consider the circumstances surrounding the incident.
He further explained that Trinityguy’s intentions were never malicious towards the young girl or any Nigerian citizen but were solely aimed at spreading joy and happiness.
Iroyin Kayefi urged the government to view this incident as an opportunity to caution Trinityguy, as he himself has learned a valuable lesson from it.
He affirmed that this incident had also served as a lesson for others, highlighting the collective growth and understanding that has arisen from it.
In a heartfelt plea, Tojubole beseeched Nigerians, the government, Nigerian police, judges, justices, and magistrates to extend their forgiveness and grant a pardon to Trinityguy.
Through his appeal, Tojubole conveyed his sincere hope that the Nigerian government would exhibit compassion and leniency towards Trinityguy, taking into consideration his remorse, willingness to change, and the lessons learned from this incident.
