According to renowned transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Samuel Chukwueze is set to complete his transfer to Serie A club, AC Milan, during this week.
Last week, AC Milan and Villarreal reached an agreement on a transfer fee of €27 million for the talented Nigerian international.
Despite an attempt to interfere with the deal by Saudi Arabia Professional Football League side, Al Nassr, both AC Milan and Villarreal, along with the player himself, are proceeding with the move.
Fabrizio Romano conveyed the latest developments through his Twitter account, stating that AC Milan is finalizing the remaining details of the deal and the necessary documents will be thoroughly checked today.
However, the anticipation is that Samuel Chukwueze will soon arrive in Italy this week to officially become a new player for the Rossoneri.
It’s worth noting that the 24-year-old player had garnered interest from other prominent clubs like Real Madrid, Newcastle United, and Aston Villa. Meanwhile, his destination seems to be set for AC Milan.
