Actress Tonto Dikeh Arrested Over Theft, Cyberbullying, and Forgery Allegations

Abuja, Nigeria – In a dramatic turn of events, the Nigeria Police Force has arrested popular Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh. The arrest follows an investigation into allegations of criminal conversion, forgery, criminal defamation, cyberbullying, and falsehood against her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill.

Sources reveal that Tonto Dikeh was summoned to the police headquarters in Abuja to address the serious accusations. During the interrogation, she reportedly admitted that her claims against Churchill were false. She also dismissed the allegations of cyberbullying, criminal conversion, and other charges.

The controversy began when Tonto Dikeh claimed ownership of a N22 million Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, presenting forged documents to support her claim. However, it was later confirmed that the original documents and receipts were in Churchill’s name.

In a related development, Tonto Dikeh admitted that her ex-husband was not involved in cybercrime, retracting her previous accusations that he was a “Yahoo boy.”

Despite the gravity of the charges, the police granted Tonto Dikeh bail after extensive questioning and investigations.

This incident coincides with another legal battle involving Tonto Dikeh and Skyewise Autos. The company alleges that the actress failed to pay for a vehicle purchased on credit, missing the agreed installment payments.
