AFCON FINAL: Osimhen, Chukwueze Starts, As Zaidu Sanusi Back In Starting XI

The Napoli and Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen, AC Milan winger, Samuel Chukwueze start and fit again Zaidu Sanusi back in starting Eleven for super eagles in 2023 Africa cup of Nation (AFCON).

The Super Eagles coach, Jose peseiro has made two changes to the side that defeated South Africa in the semi-final.

The Portuguese removed Nantes winger Moses Simon from the starting line-up, placing his trust in Samuel Chukwueze.

Goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali will be supported by a sturdy back three comprising William Troost-Ekong, Calvin Bassey and Semi Ajayi.

Alex Iwobi is to be the anchor of the Nigerian midfield, dictating the game alongside with Brentford Midfielder, Frank Onyeka.

Taking charge on the attacking front are Italy-based forwards Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman.

Zaidu Sanusi has replace Bright Osayi Samuel while Ola Aina will take charge at the other side of the wing back.

The game will kick off at 9pm Nigerian time.
