Andre Onana Arrives at Man United for Medical Ahead of Transfer

Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana is on the brink of securing a move to Manchester United, according to reports from the UK Mirror.

The 27-year-old shot-stopper has arrived in the UK and is scheduled to undergo his medicals on Wednesday at the club’s Carrington training ground.

However, the move comes as United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, seeks a replacement for the departing David De Gea, who has left Old Trafford as a free agent. Ten Hag is eager to reunite with Onana, having previously worked with him during their time together at Ajax.

The deal is said to cost the Red Devils €50 million (£43m), with an additional £5 million in potential add-ons. Upon finalizing the transfer, Onana will commit to a five-year contract, with the option for an additional year.
