Belgian League: Gift Orban Scores Quadruple In Gent Thrashing Of SV Zulte

Gift Emmanuel Orban, the Nigeria-born player, put on a spectacular display for KAA Gent of Belgium, Scoring 4goals to lead his team to a 6-2 victory over SV Zulte Waregem.

The 20-year-old started his fifth league game for the visitors after scoring three goals in his last three outings, including an equalizer against Turkish team Basaksehir in the Conference competition.

In the 37th minute, Julien De Sart gave Gent a 1-0 lead. Four minutes later, Alessio Castro-Montes gave the visitors a 2-0 advantage, giving them a comfortable lead going into halftime.

Seven minutes into the second half, Timothy Derijck scored to make it 2-1. But then Gift made headlines by turning the game into a Gift Orban night.

The 20-year-old made it 3-1 nearly immediately after the restart with a shot from inside the box; however, in the 65th minute, Jelle Vossen scored for Waregem to make it 3-2.

Gift Orban made it 5-2 three minutes later with a beautiful free kick that made it 4-2 before he converted a shot from Malick Fofana to complete his hat trick.

The young player did not stop there; he added another goal, his fourth of the game, by curling the ball low to beat the goalkeeper and give KAA Gent a lopsided 6-2 victory.

With 7 goals in just 5 games for the team, the former Stabaek forward finished the game with a perfect 10 rating.
